About Us

Producers Guild of America (PGA) advocates for a thriving future for producers and the entire industry. Representing more than 8,400 members across 32 unique credits in film, television and emerging media, PGA protects and promotes the interests of the full producing team.

PGA invests in its core values, working to improve economic opportunities for producers, the culture and sustainability of the entertainment industry, and create more pathways into the Guild for the next generation of producers, including those from underrepresented populations. PGA offers a robust array of networking opportunities, free training, tools, mentoring and education, as well as industry events including the annual Produced By Conference and PGA Awards. PGA provides the Producers Mark (p.g.a.) for feature-length productions, a certification available to both members and non-members at no cost.

Ongoing efforts include PGA’s groundbreaking Healthcare Initiative that calls on studios, streamers and production companies to expand essential benefits for producers. PGA strongly advocates for fair financial structures, employment opportunities, and competitive tax incentives that support domestic production – because producing is a job.

About the Role

The Coordinator, Programs & Events provides vital support to the Programs & Events team across the Guild’s Official Screenings Program, PGA Awards-related events, Produced By Conference, committee-led events, networking events, and virtual meetings and webinars.

This role supports programs and events from initial planning through execution and post-event wrap-up, coordinating registration, attendee communications, event logistics, on-site support, and program records. The Coordinator works closely with members, colleagues, volunteers, vendors, and other partners to help deliver thoughtful, well-organized experiences across the Guild’s programming.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of member screenings, networking events, committee-led events, and other programming from initial planning through post-event wrap-up.
Coordinate event logistics, including creating registration pages, sending e-blast invitations, managing registration lists and waitlists in real time, and supporting on-site operations to ensure a seamless member experience.
Serve as a staff representative at select in-person events and screenings, providing on-site coordination and support.
Manage event registration and attendance information and maintain accurate program records, trackers, and reporting.
Support a variety of member-facing programs, including committee-led events, networking opportunities, virtual panels and meetings, and annual special events.
Assist with the execution of PGA Awards-related events and other high-profile Guild programs throughout the year.
Support the end-to-end attendee experience for the Produced By Conference, including registration and on-site operations, and assist with the coordination and oversight of event volunteers.
Provide support across the Programs & Events department as needed, adapting to shifting priorities and seasonal programming demands.
Monitor and respond to member inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring questions are addressed or directed to the appropriate team member.
Maintain a broad understanding of Guild programs and activities to effectively support members and internal stakeholders.

About The Candidate

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting events, programs, and member experiences. You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and take pride in ensuring that details are handled accurately and efficiently.

You communicate professionally, maintain a positive and solutions-oriented approach when priorities shift, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You enjoy working with members, colleagues, volunteers, and external partners and are willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver successful programs and events.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3 years of experience in events, programs, administrative coordination, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and responsive approach to member and stakeholder inquiries.
Ability to remain positive, flexible, and composed in fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning event, database, registration, and collaboration platforms.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for events.

Compensation Range, Reporting Structure and Work Schedule

Compensation Range: $45,000-$50,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Programs & Events and the Associate Director, Screenings & Events
Work Location & Schedule: Los Angeles, CA. The Guild operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

For employees based in California, monthly parking at the PGA office is paid by the Guild.
