Tax Accountant in Public Accounting Firm

Sean H. Moshiri & Associates, a well-established CPA firm in Beverly Hills, is seeking an experienced tax accountant to join our growing team of professionals. Our tax team helps businesses and individuals navigate complex tax regulations with clarity and confidence, combining deep technical knowledge with personalized attention our clients rely on.

We offer excellent work-life balance and are looking for a strong candidate who wants to work in public accounting without the grueling hours.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare tax returns for businesses, individuals, estates, and trusts
Assist clients with closing their books and year-end adjustments
Gather and organize client tax data, analyze financial information, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
Assist with tax planning and projections
Respond to tax notices and correspondence from federal and state taxing authorities

Qualifications & Requirements

1-3 years of accounting and tax experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
Experience preparing individual and entity tax returns with a strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
Able to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
Strong client communication and analytical problem-solving skills
