Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C)

Maryland Psychiatric Care, LLC
Location: White Plains, MD
Reports to: Clinical Director / Medical Director

Position Summary

Maryland Psychiatric Care, LLC (MPC) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LMSW or LGPC to work 3 days for week 2pm-7pm in person to join our interdisciplinary mental health team. The LCSW-C will provide comprehensive clinical services including diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, treatment planning, case management, and crisis intervention for individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan. This position is integral to MPC’s mission of delivering quality, person-centered psychiatric and rehabilitative care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with COMAR regulations and agency policy.
Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessment services, including safety planning.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, counselors, PRP staff, and case managers to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
Document all clinical services in the electronic health record (Valant) in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
Monitor treatment progress, complete reviews, and update treatment plans as needed.
Provide referrals to community resources and coordinate with external providers when appropriate.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state regulations, best practices, and ethical standards of care.
Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and training sessions.

Qualifications

Current MARYLAND LMSW and LGPC in good standing (required).
Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, treatment planning, and psychotherapy modalities.
Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to maintain thorough clinical documentation.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency with electronic health records (experience with Valant preferred).

Work Schedule

3 days per week 2pm-7pm
