Full Job Description

Express Canvassing is hiring a Remote Recruiting Coordinator to help recruit, screen, and onboard employees for political campaigns and grassroots projects across the country. This is a fully remote position. Full-time, part-time, and paid internship opportunities are available. College students may also qualify to receive internship credit, subject to approval by their college or university. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable speaking with applicants by phone, and able to follow up consistently in a fast-paced environment. Previous recruiting or political campaign experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided. Responsibilities: * Review applications and identify qualified candidates * Conduct phone interviews and initial applicant screenings * Recruit canvassers, team leads, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers * Post and manage job advertisements on Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, and other recruiting platforms * Contact applicants by phone, text message, email, and social media * Explain job duties, compensation, travel expectations, and project requirements * Schedule interviews, orientations, and onboarding appointments * Follow up with applicants throughout the hiring process * Maintain accurate applicant records, interview notes, and hiring statuses * Assist new hires with onboarding documents and project preparation * Coordinate with management to fill immediate staffing needs * Build a reliable pipeline of candidates for future projects * Complete additional recruiting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Professional and comfortable speaking with applicants by phone * Organized, dependable, and able to work independently * Comfortable making a high volume of calls and following up consistently * Able to manage multiple applicants at different stages of the hiring process * Reliable computer, phone, and internet connection * Ability to meet recruiting goals and deadlines * Previous experience in recruiting, political campaigns, sales, customer service, or call-center work is preferred but not required * Familiarity with Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other recruiting platforms is a plus * Must be authorized to work in the United States * Must be willing to complete a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement Schedule: This is a fully remote position. Full-time employees must maintain a dependable schedule and remain responsive during agreed-upon working hours. Part-time opportunities are available for applicants who can commit to consistent weekly hours. Some evening and weekend availability may be required during high-volume campaign hiring periods. Compensation: Full-time compensation ranges from $2,500 to $3,750 per month, depending on experience, availability, performance, and assigned responsibilities. Part-time compensation will be based on the agreed-upon schedule and responsibilities. Paid Internship Opportunity: Current college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. This position may qualify as a paid internship for college credit, subject to approval by the applicant’s college or university.
