About Argyle Payments

Argyle Payments is a growing provider of payment processing solutions serving businesses across a wide range of industries, from traditional retail and ecommerce to specialized and emerging market verticals.

Our approach goes beyond simply providing merchant accounts. With in-house credit underwriting, compliance support, strong banking relationships, and a focus on long-term merchant success, we work to find the right processing solution for each business we serve.

As we continue to expand nationally, we are looking for an experienced Agent / ISO Recruiter to help grow our network of independent sales agents, referral partners, and Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs).

The Opportunity

This is a growth-focused recruiting and relationship management role for someone who understands the merchant services and payments industry.

The ideal candidate already knows how the agent and ISO channel works, understands what motivates successful payments professionals, and has the ability to identify, recruit, and develop productive long-term partnerships.

You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of prospective agents and ISOs, bringing qualified partners into the Argyle Payments network, and helping those relationships grow after onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and recruit experienced merchant services agents, sales professionals, referral partners, and ISOs.
Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified recruiting prospects through networking, outbound outreach, industry relationships, referrals, LinkedIn, events, and other channels.
Present the Argyle Payments value proposition and communicate our processing capabilities, banking relationships, compensation opportunities, and partner support.
Build strong relationships with prospective and existing agents and ISOs to encourage long-term engagement and production.
Guide new partners through the recruiting, contracting, and onboarding process.
Work closely with internal sales, underwriting, operations, and compliance teams to ensure new partners have the resources necessary to succeed.
Understand and effectively communicate agent and ISO compensation structures, including residuals, revenue sharing, bonuses, and other incentives.
Participate in discussions regarding partnership terms and agreements as appropriate.
Maintain accurate recruiting activity and pipeline information within the company's CRM.
Track key recruiting metrics, including outreach activity, qualified prospects, signed partners, activated partners, merchant production, and residual growth.
Stay current on merchant services trends, competitors, agent programs, technology, and opportunities within the payments industry.
Attend industry conferences, networking events, or partner meetings as needed.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in merchant services, payment processing, acquiring, or a closely related financial services environment strongly preferred.
Previous experience recruiting merchant services agents or ISOs is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchant acquiring, processing, gateways, POS solutions, pricing structures, and residual compensation.
Familiarity with agent and ISO agreements, compensation schedules, liabilities, and revenue-sharing structures.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and develop business through networking and proactive outreach.
Strong sales, recruiting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with experienced payments professionals and business owners.
Highly self-motivated and able to manage a recruiting pipeline independently.
Goal-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
Organized and comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.
Experience working with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

The right person will consistently build their recruiting pipeline, develop relationships within the payments community, bring qualified partners into the organization, and help those partners become successful producers.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $75,000–$100,000, depending on experience
