Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a hands-on machining professional with experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills, CNC lathes, and/or Prototrak conversational milling equipment.

The CNC Machinist will work in a precision manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy, and problem-solving are essential. This is a strong opportunity for a machinist who enjoys taking ownership of setups, troubleshooting programs, selecting tooling, and producing parts to tight specifications.

Candidates can expect a team-oriented shop environment with supportive leadership, clear expectations, and opportunities to continue building technical machining skills. This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well with production and quality teams, and wants a stable direct hire role with long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and/or Prototrak-controlled milling machines.
Write, edit, and troubleshoot conversational programs, G code, and M code as required by the machine and job.
Select tooling, inserts, speeds, feeds, offsets, and work coordinates to achieve accurate machining results.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T callouts to manufacture parts to print.
Perform first article and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM as needed.
Maintain accurate production documentation while keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Compensation and Benefits

Direct hire opportunity.
Pay range: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Location: Orlando, FL.
