Overview
The Country Club of Oxford is seeking dependable, hardworking Line Cooks to join our team. We operate both a high-volume pool kitchen and an elevated Clubhouse dining program, offering a dynamic environment with opportunities to grow and develop your skills. Ideal candidates are team players with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for food.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours
Assist with prep, stocking and kitchen duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or culinary setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and fine dining environments preferred
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Knowledge of the food industry trends, catering processes, and serving etiquette is a plus
