Full Job Description

Chrysler Warranty Administrator

Accurately maintain the timely flow and retention of warranty information according to requirements of manufacturer and the internal processes of the dealership.

Summary of Essential Duties

Submit warranty claims to Chrysler for payment;
Retrieve, correct and resubmit rejected warranty claims until paid;
Reconcile warranty and customer pay receivables statements on a weekly basis;
Assure that warranty, new-car prep and CPOV (certified pre-owned vehicle) paperwork is filed or forwarded for filing per manufacturer and dealership standards;
Create and maintain service files as needed according to manufacturer and dealership standards;
Maintain petty cash drawer, balance Service and Parts departments cash drawers and prepare deposit; forward daily business paperwork to business office;
Prepare customer lounge for the day and monitor and maintain for supplies and neatness;
Perform additional clerical and non-clerical duties as directed by management;
Conduct all responsibilities with uncompromised integrity;
Exhibit dependability and punctuality on an ongoing basis.

What We Are Seeking

High school diploma or equivalent;
Experience preferred but not a must;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Good command of basic math skills;
Good communication skills and ability to effectively use computers for written communication and maintenance of records;
Ability to obtain and maintain certification by Manufacturer

Administrator.

Valid driver’s license and unrestricted insurability under Klaben policy maintained throughout employment.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
