Job Summary

The Chemistry Department is currently seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to join their team of professionals.

Duties include:

Conducting the research to address the molecular mechanisms at the atomic level that underlies the adverse effects of the environmentally-induced RNA modifications including RNA damage and m6A on DNA damage repair on RNA-DNA hybrids of R-loops using computational modeling and molecular dynamics simulation along with various types of AI tools and machine learning approaches.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma with three (3) years of experience or two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

Expertise in computational modeling, AlphaFold3, and molecular dynamics for studying the molecular mechanisms of RNA-guided DNA repair via DNA polymerases on RNA-DNA hybrids of R-loops.
