Full Job Description

Kelly Science is seeking an Scientist I/Scientist II for a growing company located in State College, PA.

Salary: $65,000-80,000/year (depending on experience and level)
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire

Job Duties Include:

Conduct experiments to develop, optimize, validate, and manufacture new mammalian cell-based assays and products.
Manufacture mammalian reporter cells and assay kit components at scale.
Perform routine QA testing and execute inventory control policies to ensure product availability and integrity.
Manage and execute contract service studies for a variety of clients.
Assemble product kits and technical documents for customer shipments.
Maintain orderly and updated lab notebooks.
Participate in weekly lab meetings, presenting and interpreting data while engaging in problem-solving and strategy discussions.
Communicate proactively with team members regarding lab developments and data updates.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including personal and shared lab spaces.
Supervise Assistant Scientists and Lab Technicians as directed.

Qualifications:

PhD in a scientific related field required.
1-3 years of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culturing in an aseptic environment.
Comfortable giving presentations at conferences or large groups.
