Accounting Supervisor – Full-Time Permanent Position; Salary Range $85K-$95K

Terran Industries is a trailer/RV axle supplier and distributor who works closely with their vendors and their manufacturing plants in China.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented experienced Accounting Supervisor with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) to lead core accounting functions and help drive financial accuracy, process improvements, and team development. This role is ideal for a senior-level accounting professional ready to take on management responsibilities and act as a key contributor to the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll entries, and fixed assets
Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage and optimize processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Supervise and mentor junior accountants or accounting staff
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in accounting workflows

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
Prior experience leading or supervising accounting team members
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, etc.)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing industry
Familiarity with multi-entity
Experience in warranty claims and warranty provision is also preferred
Experience with financial audits and tax preparation support
Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle detail-oriented tasks and review multiple documents and reports

· Attention to detail and focus on the accuracy of keyed data

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to multiple audiences and purposes
Must be reliable, extremely trustworthy, professional and handle confidential information professionally
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
