Full Job Description

Job Title: On-site Event Manager

Job Summary
We're looking for a confident, organized, and hands-on On-Site Event Manager to lead our event crews and ensure every event is executed flawlessly. This role is responsible for managing event setup, overseeing staff, serving as the primary point of contact for clients during events, and solving problems as they arise.

Schedule: Flexible schedule based on event calendar. Weekend availability is required

Key Responsibilities

Lead event crews during setup, event execution, and teardown
Direct staff assignments and ensure all equipment is placed according to site maps and timelines
Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, vendors, and venue representatives
Proactively resolve issues and make operational decisions to keep events running smoothly
Monitor event timelines and ensure all aspects of the event stay on schedule
Maintain high standards for safety, professionalism, and presentation throughout each event
Coach, motivate, and hold event staff accountable for performance and professionalism
Communicate event progress and any issues with company management
Ensure equipment is handled properly and returned in good condition following each event
Represent the company with professionalism and deliver an exceptional client experience

Qualifications

Previous experience leading teams in events, hospitality, production, or a related field
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift and move equipment and work outdoors for extended periods
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Experience in event production, corporate events, catering, rentals, or live events is a plus

Compensation
Pay is based on experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
Event Production: 3 years (Preferred)
Team management: 3 years (Preferred)
Event Supervising: 3 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

Day Shift (Required)

Work Location: In person
