Full Job Description

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $200,000 to $220,000 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle and accounting transactions related to the month end/year end close process and drive process improvement.
Prepare and analyze financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Recommend process improvements across the department to include AP, AR, Payroll & General Accounting
Hands on Analysis of daily/monthly financial transactions and ensure they meet GAAP requirements.
Responsible for the weekly/monthly reconciliation of cash related to the bank/accounting system and research/resolve any and all variances.
Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly statement of cash flow report.
Manage the bank account and direct/approve all payments to vendors.
Track/Monitor all lending and facilitate any interest payments and loan revisions.
Coordinate and lead the completion of all account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Lead & direct all aspects of the order to cash and procure to pay functions.
Assist in financial training and development of accounting staff.
Responsible for the implementation of all necessary accounting policies, procedures and standards and ensure adherence to GAAP.
Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
Ensure all the financial systems and controls meet requirements and are in line with all relevant legislation and financial reporting guidelines.
Lead external audits and ensure timely completion of audited financial statements.
Perform ad hoc projects and assist in all areas of operation as requested by the CFO.
Create and manage the preparation of weekly and monthly reports to support departmental and business needs.
Prepare detailed internal financial reports, including researching and explaining significant variances by working closely with various departments and management.
Provide ad hoc financial reports, tables, exhibits as requested.
Prepare and analyze financial statements monthly, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
Interface with other functional areas to ensure reporting integrity and accuracy in the General Ledger.
Partner with Management & Investors for analysis, planning and reporting needs.
Support Board Meetings and monthly financial reporting.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
Advanced Degree
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, cash flow, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced experience working in Microsoft tools (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and carrying out detailed, complex analysis.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables.
Mindset of continuous process improvements with focus on questioning the status quo.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be aware of OSHA safety standards.
Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises.
May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending.
Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Travel to job sites may be required.
Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $30 to $33 Per Hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
