Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. You will manage reservations, to-go orders, greet guests, and facilitate the flow of service while maintaining high standards of guest relations and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage the seating chart and reservations using the Open Table reservation software to optimize table turnover.
Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest experience.
Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Compensation will be negotiable based upon experience.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly SpotOn POS, is a plus.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
