Carolinas Home Real Estate, LLC is a locally owned, growing real estate brokerage serving North Carolina and South Carolina.

We believe great agents don't need someone looking over their shoulder — they need a brokerage that gives them the support, tools, knowledge, and freedom to build their business.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced real estate professional who wants to take the next step in their career as a Managing Broker and market leader for Carolinas Home Real Estate.

This isn't a traditional 9-to-5 management position, and we're not looking for someone who wants to spend every day sitting behind a desk.

We're looking for a successful real estate professional who knows the business, knows how to work with people, and genuinely enjoys helping other agents succeed.

Most importantly, you can continue selling real estate and growing your own business while serving in this role.

What's the Job?

A great real estate agent knows how to sell real estate.

A great Managing Broker knows real estate, understands people, can solve problems, and wants the agents around them to succeed.

Our Managing Broker will serve as a leader, mentor, and broker-level resource for agents while helping Carolinas Home Real Estate continue to grow throughout the Charlotte market and surrounding areas.

You'll be someone agents can turn to when they have a difficult contract question, an unusual transaction, a negotiation problem, or simply need guidance from someone who has been there before.

At the same time, you'll help us recruit great agents, strengthen our culture, expand our presence in the market, and build something bigger.

And you don't have to give up your own real estate business to do it.

Responsibilities Include:

Serve as a broker-level resource for agents with questions regarding contracts, transactions, negotiations, and brokerage activities
Assist agents with difficult or unusual transaction situations
Help resolve issues or disputes involving agents, clients, customers, vendors, cooperating brokers, and other parties
Mentor and coach newer agents as they develop their real estate businesses
Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of new agents
Help attract and recruit quality agents to Carolinas Home Real Estate
Support agent accountability, professionalism, and brokerage standards
Maintain strong knowledge of North Carolina and South Carolina real estate contracts, forms, rules, and industry practices
Stay knowledgeable about the Charlotte-area real estate market and surrounding communities
Serve as a resource regarding local MLS systems and REALTOR® associations
Assist with brokerage policies and procedures when necessary
Help develop training, educational resources, and useful content for our agents
Build relationships with lenders, attorneys, vendors, industry professionals, and community leaders
Identify opportunities to expand the brokerage into additional neighborhoods, communities, and markets
Represent Carolinas Home Real Estate professionally and with integrity
Help create a brokerage culture where good agents want to work, grow, and stay

Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone who checks many of these boxes:

Active North Carolina and/or South Carolina real estate license (prefer both)
Must live in the Charlotte, NC area or surrounding market
Experienced real estate professional with a proven history of production
Strong knowledge of North Carolina and South Carolina contracts and real estate practices
Leadership or team experience preferred
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Confident handling difficult conversations and transaction issues
Comfortable mentoring and helping other real estate professionals
Motivated, self-driven, and entrepreneurial
Able to work independently without needing constant direction
Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
Familiarity with Dotloop or a willingness to learn
Working knowledge of social media and other digital tools
Strong understanding of the Charlotte-area real estate market
Willing to occasionally respond to time-sensitive agent questions outside traditional business hours
Interested in helping grow a brokerage rather than simply filling a position

Experience in South Carolina real estate is a major plus, particularly for candidates familiar with the Charlotte-to-South Carolina corridor.

Compensation

This is a commission-based real estate position with additional compensation opportunities associated with the Managing Broker role and brokerage sales.

You may continue actively selling real estate and earning commissions from your personal production while serving as Managing Broker.

Full compensation structure and Managing Broker incentives will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Your earning potential will depend on your personal production, involvement in brokerage growth, and overall success in the role.
