Senior Product Manager - AI - (Contract-to-Hire)

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own execution across active product workstreams: requirements, backlogs, cross-functional delivery and launches. This is a hands-on delivery role reporting directly to the President with meaningful ownership of live products and a clear conversion path to a permanent position for a strong performer.

Our product organization is transitioning to an AI-native way of working. PRDs, specs and product documentation here are authored through AI (we use Claude across the product org) rather than written by hand. We are looking for strong product judgment and evident aptitude for working this way: an understanding that output quality is a function of the context, structure and iteration you provide, and the editing instincts to catch what the AI gets wrong. Your value is the quality of your product thinking; the tools handle the typing.

What You'll Do:

Own delivery of assigned product workstreams from defined roadmap priorities through requirements, build, QA/UAT, launch and post-launch iteration.
Produce clear, complete product requirements through AI-assisted authoring: PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria that engineering can build from without ambiguity, drafted with AI and refined and owned by you.
Establish and maintain product context: curate the source material, prior decisions, constraints and domain knowledge that make AI-assisted work fast and accurate, for you and for the broader team.
Manage backlogs and prioritization within your scope; keep sprints supplied with well-defined, ready work.
Coordinate across engineering, design and operations to remove blockers, manage dependencies (including external partner deliverables) and keep dates honest.
Communicate status proactively: what is shipping, slipping or blocked, and what you need, before being asked.
Help shape our AI-native playbook: as an early practitioner, contribute to how the product org works with AI, what works, what does not and what becomes standard practice.

What you need:

4+ yrs of product management experience with a demonstrable shipping record; able to walk through specific products or features brought to release, the role played and the obstacles overcome.
Experience defining business and product requirements for platform or technical products, and managing them through development to release and adoption.
Comfort working with engineering teams day to day: technical tradeoff discussions, API-level conversations and dependency management, without needing to write code.
Hands-on use of AI assistants (Claude or comparable) in real work, with the ability to articulate a method: what context you provide, how you iterate, how you validate output.
Experience in advanced advertising, media or television technology; experience working with data providers, agencies or publisher platforms is a plus.
