UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado is seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join its high-acuity Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team as a full-time Nocturnist, delivering advanced overnight surgical care in one of the Rocky Mountain region’s most respected Level II trauma centers.
Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner will:

Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P–7A).

Perform assessments, order/interprete diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.

Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
-
Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
-
Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Document all care using Epic EMR.

Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes.
-
Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards.
-
Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education.

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual salary ranges from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience

Eligible to earn up to $10,000 annually through the Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP)
