Full Job Description

We are in need of a full-time or part-time cook for our Assisted Living & Memory Care community in Springville.

Our prep cook hours would be 9:30am-1:30pm, with every other weekend avaliabilty. Shifts can sometimes be combined for those who are wanting more hours. For more hours, cooks can also work some server shifts.

If you love to cook but don't have experience cooking professionally, please come in anyway, we are happy to train! This is a great job for parents, students, anyone who loves to cook and work in a kitchen and is comfortable with the idea of cooking for a large group of people.

Cook Responsibilities Include:

- Prep work for meals for 60-100 people.
- Cook meals according to recipe.
- Plate meals according to individual orders, including specific resident needs.
- Clean up cooking area.
- Communicate supply needs with kitchen manager.

Server Responsibilities Include:

- Take orders
- Get drinks and side dishes
- Deliver meals to resident rooms
- Serve guests and residents in the dining room
- Assist with dishes and kitchen cleanup after each shift

The Ideal Candidate:

- Enjoys cooking from scratch and finding new healthy and delicious recipes.
- Works efficiently and uses time well.
- Is dependable and always on time.
- Follows direction and can work well as part of a team.
- Has strong communication skills with manager, co-workers, and residents.
