Join Our Team as a Dental Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Dental Office Manager to join our patient-centered dental practice in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proactive mindset, capable of effectively managing the day-to-day operations of a busy dental office.

You’ll play a critical leadership role ensuring our systems and protocols are strong, the team is accountable, patients receive top-tier service, and the practice remains both organized and profitable.

What You'll Do:

As the Dental Office Manager, you will be responsible for the overall non-clinical functions of the practice, including:

Team Leadership:

Inspire and lead the front and back office staff.
Provide clear job descriptions, training, performance expectations, and regular evaluations.
Hold the team accountable and foster a goal-oriented, collaborative culture.

Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
Ensure systems and protocols are in place and function effectively.
Ensure an efficient, productive schedule by managing patient appointments, optimizing provider time, and maintaining smooth patient flow throughout the day.
Train staff on the effective use of office systems and equipment, and coordinate with IT to ensure all technology is running smoothly.

Financial & Administrative Tasks:

Post patient payments, manage account reconciliation, and oversee billing and collections.
Monitor budgets and profitability metrics, ensuring financial health of the practice.
Patient Experience:
Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Ensure patients feel welcome, respected, and valued from the moment they arrive.
Vision & Mission Alignment:
Lead by example in reinforcing the practice’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.
Keep the team aligned with the office vision and engaged in achieving long-term goals.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of Dental Office Management experience (required)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Curve or other dental software
Solid understanding of dental insurance, billing, and collections
Comfortable with technology, systems evaluation, and basic IT troubleshooting
Commitment to patient satisfaction and team success
