Job Title: Business Office Manager
Location: Poway, CA
Shift: Day Shift
Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is expected to be $35-$50/hr and will depend on experience, particularly dealership business office experience and systems knowledge.
Employment Type: Temporary, with strong potential to convert
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday–Friday. Start time is typically 8:00 AM, with flexibility required based on workload. Longer hours may be needed during month-end, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Job Summary:
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager for an automotive dealership in Poway, CA. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business office, managing a small team, and supporting the Controller and Owner with month-end activities, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will bring prior automotive dealership business office experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite dealership environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership business office
Manage and support business office staff, including functions such as contracts, accounts receivable, inventory, DMV, and office administration
Assist with month-end close activities, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations
Help maintain accurate records, reporting, and office processes across the business office
Partner closely with the Controller and Owner to support office operations and accounting workflows
Step in as needed to support office coverage and ensure business continuity
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling dealership financial and operational information
Support a collaborative, accountable, and organized office environment

Requirements:

Prior automotive dealership business office experience required
Experience with Reynolds and Dealertrack required
Experience supporting business office operations, dealership accounting functions, and office staff
Ability to assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations
Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working fully onsite in Poway and maintaining flexibility around month-end workload demands
