Full Job Description

Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a Wellness Coordinator to join the Resident Experiences team! This position will be responsible for the operation and success of the Wellness Center, including leading group exercise classes and personalized 1-on-1 training sessions. The coordinator drives resident participation, maintains excellent organization and record-keeping, and collaborates closely with staff and leadership to deliver a high-quality wellness experience that supports residents’ physical health and overall well-being.

Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 10am-6pm

Pay: $25.00- $25.50

Shift: Full Time

Main Responsibilities:

Lead, create, and implement high-quality group exercise and wellness classes as well as personalized 1-on-1 training sessions focused on strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, and other resident health goals.

Manage the Wellness Center calendar, including scheduling classes, 1-on-1 sessions, and room bookings while monitoring utilization and making adjustments to maximize participation.
Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of all Wellness Center spaces (exercise classroom, workout room, salt therapy room, massage room, and pool facilities) to ensure safety, cleanliness, and optimal functioning.
Provide regular operational updates, status reports, and KPI tracking (participation, attendance, satisfaction, etc.) directly to the Director of Resident Experiences.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College degree preferred.
Two years working with senior population with 6 months related wellness experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior supervisory experience and swimming/pool fitness experience strongly preferred.

Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
