Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of barista experience on a manual machine and one year of supervisory experience at a product and technique driven cafe that's primary focus is espresso-based drinks.
Knowledge of how to properly store product and maintain and service equipment to ensure best quality beverages- familiarity with La Marzocco a plus!
Experience training and coaching baristas on proper milk execution, espresso extraction, drink ratios and temperatures, and consistency
Strong knowledge of café operations, including ordering, inventory, labor management, and daily execution
Commitment to creating a welcoming, memorable, and unique guest experience
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using restaurant technologies (POS, Excel, Word, Ctuit, HotSchedules)
Basic understanding of COGS and labor management
Active ServSafe Food Safety Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Flexible and open availability, including weekends and holidays
