ASSOCIATE COACH

Associate Coaches needed for Culver City and Santa Monica locations!

*For our Culver City location we are particularly looking for coaches with experience in education and coaching badass women as most of our clientele fall into that demographic.

Associate Coaches will be responsible for delivering predesigned workouts in a fun, energetic, and safe environment.

Requirements:

Foundational knowledge of
Strength Training: proper physical technique and form
Injury Prevention and Recovery
Fitness Program Design
Nutrition Program Design
The ability to motivate multiple clients in a small group setting
The ability to remember individuals: name, personal details as well as details about their injuries and fitness experience
The ability to coach people at any fitness level
High Energy
Team Player
Strong Work Ethic
Strong Interpersonal Communications Skills
CPR/AED Cert

This position is currently part-time with the opportunity for full time in the future.

ABOUT SESSIONS PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal Training is a relatively new industry.

Compared to other fitness offerings it typically arrives at a higher cost than even the most exclusive gyms.

In addition to the high cost, there is typically a greater barrier to entry than most boutique offerings:

Excellent coaching is required to maintain membership
Customization is expected when paying a higher price point
Programming is typically not systematized in a manner that is either scalable or controlled for quality

This leaves most gyms with members who are loyal to trainers, trainers who are loyal to their members, and gyms left with a soulless community.

The opposite is true for typical group fitness offerings:

Coaching large groups means greater chance of injury and lack of care
Templated "workouts of the day" don't address individual needs, whether that be due to injury or a shift in goals
A lower price point typically yields less committed members (who obtain worse results)

Sessions Personal Training combines the best of both the Personal Trainer and the Boutique Fitness Studio.

Six-person groups put community first by remaining intimate and highly coachable
Varied levels of programs, while templated, are designed around the member's needs and goals and effectively assigned to each member as an individual during their assessment process

And while our price point is higher than a typical large-group fitness offering, it is significantly more affordable than most (if not all) one-on-one personal training offerings in greater metropolitan areas.

This allows Sessions Personal Training to simultaneously build a strong community and provide the best results possible to each individual.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
