As a CNC Programmer at PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, you will play a vital role in the aerospace manufacturing process by programming, setting up, and operating advanced numerical control machines. Your expertise will be crucial in performing various machining functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching on both metallic and nonmetallic workpieces. You'll read and interpret blueprints and technical data to determine tooling requirements and setup procedures while creating CNC programs for 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers using CAM software or manual inputs. Your responsibilities will also include designing and fabricating holding fixtures, documenting tool lists, conducting First Article inspections, and training operators on machine operations.
