Full Job Description

Did you become a Tax Manager just to review returns?

Or was it to become the person your clients pick up the phone to call first?

If it's the second, keep reading.

This firm works primarily with privately held businesses, real estate groups, and investment entities, giving you the opportunity to build genuine relationships with business owners rather than only hearing from them when a return is due.

You'll still be involved in complex compliance work, but you'll also spend your time planning, consulting, solving problems, and helping clients make better business decisions throughout the year. It's the sort of role where you become a trusted adviser, not just another reviewer.

The firm has built a collaborative culture where Partners are approachable, ideas are welcomed, and people genuinely enjoy working together. Managers stay close to both clients and leadership, mentor the next generation of accountants, and play an active role in the firm's continued growth.

Busy season is generally capped at around 55 hours, open PTO is actively encouraged, and there's a clear path towards Senior Manager, Director, and ultimately Partner for someone who wants to keep progressing. Alongside that, the firm continues to invest heavily in technology, process improvements, and creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work.

They're looking for a CPA with strong experience across partnerships, pass through entities, S Corporations, and C Corporations, someone who enjoys working directly with business owners, building long term relationships, and explaining complex tax matters in a practical way.
