Job description:

Front Desk for Rockledge and Merritt Island

· Serves as the first point of contact with patients entering the clinical area prior seeing a provider for busy family care practice.

. Fast-paced Physician's office

. May be assigned between 2 locations: Rockledge or Merritt Island. As needed bases.

· Rotating Schedules

· Essential Job Functions:

· Answering multi line phone, making appointments

Insurance verification

· Checking voice messages in a timely fashion.

· Follows up on missed appointments, arranges treatments and periodic visits.

· Demonstrates the ability to identify and address the needs of different patient age groups and the ability to effectively communicate with these patients.

· Checking in and checking out patients, collecting payments, faxing, copying, scanning, insurance verifications, updating patient’s demographics/paper work

· Maintaining lobby and office cleanliness, organizational and marketing materials.

· Promoting seminars. Attending and assisting with medical seminars at the clinic.

· Performs other duties as requested.

· Functions as a team player. Punctual, responsible, resourceful, problem solving

· Accepts changes to the schedule or workflow based on patient volumes.

· Computer literate, ability to type fast.

Qualifications

· Education and formal training a plus

*Front desk Work Experience at medical clinic a plus,

Welcome new hires with no medical but office experience

· Skills, and abilities required:

· Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively with patients, families and others.
· Demonstrates an attitude of cooperativeness and team spirit. Provides evidence of professional values and ethics. Passionate about helping people and understating the flow of medical business.
· Compassionate and warm-hearted individual to assist our patients

· *Physical Requirements:

· Visual acuity sufficient to read small typing and computer screen must be able to hear conversation level,
· Must be able to stay focused, handle stress well and able to multi task: including answering phone lines and assisting patients at the window
· Must be dependable, team player with a positive attitude toward patients, organization, and the team.
Must respect authority of superiors and company policies.
Attention to job duties: promptly keep the flow of the patients check in/check out per company requirements. We are very fast pace organization.
· Must follow complete orders of the medical providers: Medical Doctors, PA’s, ARNPs.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
