Administrative Assistant / Operations Assistant Manager in Training

Beauty Distribution Company | Fountain Valley, CA

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our fast-paced warehouse / office environment.

Start as an Administrative Assistant and grow into operations leadership. We're committed to promoting from within—the right candidate will learn warehouse operations, build management skills, and advance into an Operations Assistant Manager role overseeing team coordination and process improvements.

What You'll Do

Data Entry & Systems Management: Input and maintain data in Excel and internal systems with high accuracy
Inventory Support: Assist with inventory tracking, product information management, and stock coordination
Documentation : Prepare purchase orders, sales orders and shipping documents
Communications: Communicate efficiently with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal team members to resolve issues and coordinate activities
Warehouse Support: Assist with light warehouse duties as needed; ability to lift 35 lbs.
Process Learning: Engage with operations processes to build foundational knowledge for future advancement

What We Need

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with verifiable work history
Excel knowledge (basic level minimum)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities with ease
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Sense of urgency in completing tasks and meeting deadlines
Must be flexible in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Vietnamese-speaking candidate preferred
Team player mentality with a proactive, reliable approach

Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift; occasional overtime and weekends as needed
Location: On-site only (no remote work)
Full-time with benefits
Starting rate: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, or logistics
Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Interest in developing into an operations/supervisory role
