Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Fry Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried dishes with precision, consistency, and enthusiasm. Your culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation expertise in a fast-paced, high-volume environment dedicated to excellence.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of fried menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
Assist with menu planning by providing input on popular dishes and ingredient availability
Support food production efforts by managing multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to promote safety and quality
Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service while maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, especially in a high-volume or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
Skilled in operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, poaching tools, braising pans, and knives
Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and food production
Familiarity with dietary department standards and catering or fine dining experience is a plus
Excellent food handling skills combined with a keen eye for detail in food presentation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
