One of the largest buyers of Residential Real Estate in Hampton Roads is hiring an Assistant Operations Manager / Transaction Coordinator to join in supporting and leading the purchasing side of the office of local residential redevelopment company in addition to underwriting and processing hard money loan clients. If you cannot handle a fast, detailed pace, while juggling a bunch of balls in the air at the same time all while providing great customer service, then this isn't for you.

We are a real estate investing company that buys houses for cash. We quickly fix them up and put them on the market to give home buyers the opportunity to own quality remodeled homes. If you want to work in an exciting environment with a company that is growing like wildfire, then please read on.

This is a full time position located in our Virginia Beach office. If you love to work hard, and do what it takes to get the job done, have no excuses and love to keep a team operating at full steam ahead, then you’ll love being a part of our kick a$$ real estate investment team.

Responsibilities:

You are an octopus. You'll have 8 arms / legs doing a bunch of different things at different times.
At any given time we'll have between 25 - 50 open files on houses we're in the process of buying or selling, you're the go between for those files between all the parties.
You'll be providing stellar customer service to our sellers who have agreed to sell their property to us, including working through title issues
You'll be giving the sales team the information they need to know on their files
You'll be talking to our closing company and closing attorney on each and every file to get them closed
You'll communicate with our insurance agent for any properties we buy
You'll communicate with 3rd party utilities to set up utilities on properties we buy.
You'll work alongside our Retail Transaction Coordinator who handles all houses that are on the market to sell.
You'll be underwriting Real Estate deals for us and our Borrowers
You'll be processing those loan applications and underwriting and servicing those loans
You get to deal with details and people on a daily basis.
You'll work with almost every employee in the company to inform them on investment homes we're about to purchase so they can do their part in the transaction.
You'll work with the CEO on underwriting transactions for purchase.
You'll work with our Private Lenders and Banks on any documentation needed to facilitate those purchases.
Handle all client facing facets of our Lending Operation.
And any other items as they come up.
You do not need Real Estate or Title experience, however that is extremely helpful.
A driven take charge attitude, and still be pleasant. If you are passive, this job won't work for you.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree
3+ Years of Office Manager / Title Underwriter / Transaction Coordinator / Operations experience
Clear driving record, no felony convictions, no misdemeanor convictions involving theft or injury to persons or property or financial crimes.
Excellent Computer Skills Required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

View computer screen for extended periods
Excellent communication skills
Sit or stand for long periods of time
Occasionally bending or stooping or crawling and ability to lift up to 25 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a normal office environment. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
