Full Job Description

The individual will be responsible for monitoring the daily operation of a Community Based Crisis Stabilization program for adults.

The Administrator assumes responsibility for the following roles to include:

Collaborate supervision with Licensed Mental Health Professional and other Consultants• Indirect supervision of Crisis Stabilization Counselors

Provides 24 hour on-call supervision

Provide risk management Training

Maintain Records management

.• Maintain fiscal accountability

Provide a structured program of care

Conduct weekly records review

Conducting and approving assessments

Prescreening, admitting and discharge planning

Overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans for Mental Health services

Ensuring protocol for nutrition, medication management, health and safety

Investigating abuse/complaints

Interviewing, hiring and terminations

Conducting background checks and performance evaluations

Administering the standards of conduct

Coordinating services with case management

Scheduling and attending in-services

Conducting annual recertification and other trainings

Monitoring active treatment and staffing patterns

Demonstrating practical experience in behavior management

Conducting presentations to community partners

Marketing program services to community partners

Maintain Referrals from community partners

Writing reports and updating policies and procedures

Work as Crisis Stabilization Counselor when staffing shortages arise

Experience managing people with mental health disorders and possibly other related disabilities

Ability to monitor services provided by consultants and conduct team meetings

Experienced in personnel management, HIPPA and records management, developing and implementing Individualized Service Plans, conducting and approving assessments, prescreening, and discharge planning

Familiarity with regulations governed by DBHDS and Offices of Human Rights, Department of Social Services, Juvenile Justice System, Department of Education and local School Boards, Department of Labor, OSHA, Community Service Boards, Case Management Services, First Aid and CPR

Must have skills in supervising and managing in the Human Services Field • Effective written and oral communication skills

Accounting principles and billing

Ability to coordinate case management services with consultants and referring agencies • Strong documentation skills

Monitoring medication administration and behavioral plans

Maintain safety standards for the residence

Ensuring current staff certification and ongoing training, monitoring active treatment for residents and ensuring their safety

Maintain compliance with regulations by the Fair Labor Laws, Department of Social Services, OSHA, Workers Compensation and Fair Labor Laws, Equal employment Opportunities, American Disabilities Act and policies of Compassionate Health Services

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

License/Certification:

QMHP Certification (Required)
