Full Job Description

Property Manager

Location: Visalia
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of an apartment community in Visalia, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and prior experience within apartment or residential property management. This position plays a key role in maintaining resident satisfaction, occupancy levels, and overall property operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment complex
Manage tenant relations and respond to resident concerns in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate leasing activities including property tours, applications, move-ins, and renewals
Collect rent payments and monitor delinquency reports
Ensure compliance with lease agreements, Fair Housing regulations, and company policies
Conduct property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal
Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion
Work closely with maintenance staff and outside vendors
Maintain accurate tenant files, reports, and documentation
Assist with budgeting, invoices, and general administrative duties
Help maintain occupancy goals and support marketing efforts for vacant units

Qualifications

Previous property management, apartment management, or leasing experience preferred
Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Professional demeanor and reliability required
Experience with property management software is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant practices preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
