Now Hiring: Human Resources Administrator

Hudson, OH | Full-Time | On-Site

An established and growing restoration company in Hudson, Ohio is seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our employees and leadership by overseeing daily HR operations, payroll administration, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits, and employee relations.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of Human Resources while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Primary Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, and process employment applicants
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees
Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR documentation
Process payroll and assist with payroll-related reporting
Administer employee benefits, including:
Medical
Dental
Vision
401(k)
Vacation, Sick, and Personal Time
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Track employee leave balances and time-off requests
Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including:
Drug screenings
Respirator fit testing
Background screenings (if applicable)
Schedule and maintain employee certifications and IICRC training
Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and Safety Manual
Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR regulations, and internal policies
Assist with HR audits and compliance documentation
Draft employee communications, policies, disciplinary documentation, and other HR-related correspondence
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and procedures
Support employee engagement, recognition programs, and company culture initiatives
Perform additional administrative and HR duties as assigned

Qualifications

2+ years of Human Resources experience preferred
Previous payroll experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (HR, Business Administration, or related field)

Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Full-time, on-site
