Welder / Fitter

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime opportunities available based on production demands.

We're looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to become part of a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication work, takes pride in producing high-quality finished products, and is comfortable working from blueprints to completed assemblies.

Most work is performed in a modern shop environment with no regular travel required. For employees interested in expanding their experience, occasional travel opportunities may be available in the future to support customer projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Fabricate and assemble custom metal components from engineering drawings and blueprints.
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of steel and metal assemblies while meeting ASME quality standards.
Cut, fit, grind, and prepare materials using fabrication equipment and hand tools.
Operate press brakes, plasma cutting equipment, and other shop machinery to produce accurate parts.
Measure and inspect completed work using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
Fabricate pipe assemblies, machine guards, frames, brackets, and other welded structures.
Assist with mechanical assembly and component installation as required.
Safely operate forklifts and work around overhead cranes and rigging equipment.
Maintain an organized work area while following all company safety procedures and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing.
Strong MIG and TIG welding skills.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication prints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
Experience using common fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, press brakes, grinders, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Working knowledge of ASME welding standards and fabrication practices.
Mechanical aptitude with experience assembling fabricated components.
Comfortable performing layout work and maintaining close tolerances.
Basic math skills for measurements, material layouts, and fabrication calculations.
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented production environment.

Preferred Experience

Sheet metal fabrication
Pipe fabrication and threading
Machining or machine shop experience
Industrial maintenance background
Forklift certification or previous forklift operation
