Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various automotive repair techniques. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Duties

Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and refinishing.
Utilize MIG welding and fabrication techniques for structural repairs.
Conduct mechanical inspections and repairs as needed.
Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment effectively.
Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including detailing and assembly of parts.
Repair or replace auto glass as required.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
Estimate repair costs accurately and efficiently.
Handle heavy lifting of automotive parts and components safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in auto body repair techniques including sheet metal work, soldering, and auto painting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
Familiarity with automotive restoration projects is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
