SKILLED LABORER / CARPENTER

Winterbourne Construction, LLC is an intentionally small builder based in Walla Walla. For more than 20 years, we've specialized in custom homes, thoughtful remodels, high-performance buildings, and unique commercial projects throughout the region. We're looking for an experienced skilled carpenter or laborer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working on a wide variety of projects.
This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to work on every phase of construction. Our projects range from custom homes to complex remodels, so the work is varied and rarely repetitive. You'll have the opportunity to develop and use a broad range of skills, including framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, windows and doors, siding, timber construction, welding, and more.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of construction, carpentry, or specialty trade experience
- Working knowledge of residential construction from site work through final completion
- Pride in producing high-quality work with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the rest of the team
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a willingness to solve problems as they arise
- Ability to think creatively and adapt to unique projects
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings is a plus
- Experience with high-performance or energy-efficient building systems is a plus
- Basic hand tools required. A company cordless tool system will be provided.
