Full Job Description

Our established, growing practice needs an upbeat individual to set the expectations for appointments and assure our patients their visits will go as smoothly as possible. This position is perfect for someone who can multitask, likes interacting with different people and wants to be on a team of professionals. Offering the opportunity of the stability of a career in healthcare with a healthy life/work balance!

Prior healthcare or medical office experience can be a plus, but they are certainly not required. We offer paid training for the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning to the Strong Vision Center Exceptional Standard of Care!

Some of your duties:

Making sure patients feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door
Pleasantly answering questions, addressing or documenting concerns, and making appointments for existing and potential clients
Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity
Answering incoming calls, take messages, complete outreach to patients (some re-engagement required)
Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth (offered and expected)
Assisting in opening and closing the office
Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
Assist in pre-testing, chart documentation, and troubleshoot prescription issues to set up the doctor and patients for a successful appointment
