About us

A&A Cable Contractors Inc./Cruz Tec, Inc. are small construction companies with over 20 years of experience in both directional drilling and underground utility work. We pride ourselves in producing a consistent high-quality outcome for each of our projects. We create value from the inside of the company to the outside with professionalism and respect from the top to the bottom.

We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with construction accounting background.

```Duties```

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization

- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts

- Strong intercompany accounting knowledge

- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting

- Process payroll taxes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

- Assist with year-end closing procedures and audits

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information

```Requirements```

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software, QuickBooks

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus
