Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Contingency Management (CM) Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, implementation, and administration of The Gubbio Project's Spanish-language, culturally responsive Contingency Management Program for people who use stimulants. Working collaboratively with the San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF), the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), and community partners, the Coordinator ensures that participants receive high-quality, trauma-informed, harm reduction-focused services in a welcoming and culturally responsive environment.

The Coordinator oversees program logistics, participant engagement, incentive management, data collection, reporting, and collaboration with clinical partners to ensure successful implementation and positive participant outcomes. The program is designed to provide three 12-person cohorts annually, combining Spanish-language group sessions, individual support, clinical services, and incentive-based engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Coordination

Coordinate all aspects of the Contingency Management Program.
Manage participant enrollment, scheduling, attendance, and program documentation.
Coordinate three annual 12-week cohorts.
Prepare program materials and participant packets.
Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to program policies.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.

Participant Engagement

Build trusting, respectful relationships using trauma-informed and harm reduction principles.
Welcome and orient new participants.
Provide ongoing encouragement and motivational support.
Conduct regular participant wellness check-ins.
Assist participants with referrals to healthcare, behavioral health, housing, treatment, and social services.
Coordinate with Partner Agencies on referrals supporting the participants.
Promote participant retention throughout the program.

Partnership Coordination

Serve as the primary administrative liaison between The Gubbio Project, SFAF, and SFDPH.
Coordinate scheduling with facilitators, clinicians, and outreach staff.
Attend multidisciplinary team meetings.
Support communication between all program partners.

Incentive Management

Manage Contingency Management incentive distribution.
Maintain accurate inventory and secure storage of gift cards and participant incentives.
Track participant milestones and incentive eligibility.
Ensure compliance with funding requirements and audit standards.

Data Collection & Reporting

Maintain accurate participant records.
Track attendance, incentives, outcomes, and engagement.
Prepare reports required by SFDPH and funding partners.
Assist with program evaluation and quality improvement.
Monitor program performance measures.

Group & Event Support

Assist with Spanish-language group logistics.
Coordinate participant Water, coffee, meals, and supplies.
Support educational workshops and wellness activities.
Ensure meeting spaces are prepared and welcoming.
Maintain an information table with updated printed Spanish information on services and resources.
Set up and clean up of the group session space

Administrative Responsibilities

Purchase program supplies and meals.
Manage program calendars.
Maintain organized files and documentation.
Assist with grant reporting and compliance activities.
Support budget tracking related to program expenses.
Coordinate PROGRESA team meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items and agreements.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent lived and professional experience).
Minimum 2 years of experience in case management, harm reduction, behavioral health, community outreach, or program coordination.
Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal). Speaking Maya from Yucatan is a plus.
Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use, or behavioral health challenges and with Latine Immigrants and indigenous people from Latin America.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Preferred

Experience with Contingency Management programs.
Knowledge of stimulant use treatment and harm reduction.
Familiarity with San Francisco service systems.
Experience with data management and grant reporting.
CPR/First Aid and Naloxone certification (or willingness to obtain).

The Gubbio Project is a low-barrier, community-based drop-in center serving people experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and substance use. Staff work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where flexibility, compassion, professionalism, and strong boundaries are essential.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
