Full Job Description

Job Description:

A very busy, Dracut attorney’s office specializing in family and personal injury law, is eagerly seeking candidates for a full-time paralegal position. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, initiative and dependability. The right candidate must be a problem solver and take ownership of their assignments. The ideal candidate must also be highly organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist two attorneys in day-to-day operations by managing client files and drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, financial statements, and separation agreements. Provide comprehensive trial preparation support, including the coordination of exhibits, witness materials, and trial logistics. Answer phones, record messages and triage phone calls for the attorneys, handle client billing and process over-the-phone payments through Clio Manage, keep a meticulously accurate calendar, monitor and send emails, copy, print, scan and maintain document files.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of paralegal experience required. Training available. Education can be substituted for experience

Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree or a Paralegal Certificate

Well-versed in Massachusetts Probate and Family Court procedures and rules

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat to streamline daily workflows

Excellent grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills

Ability to work independently

Strong multi-tasking skills required to handle many requests and tasks simultaneously

Ability to prioritize and meet time-sensitive deadlines

Compassionate, detail-oriented, and adept at working calmly, quickly, and effectively within fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Work Location & Schedule: On-site; Monday through Friday.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
