Full Job Description

CNC Machinist - III or IV

Wamego, KS

Dymax is a family-owned heavy equipment manufacturer building durable attachments and rail equipment for mining, construction, forestry, and rail industries. We operate a high-mix, low-volume environment where precision matters and craftsmanship counts.

We are hiring highly skilled CNC Machinists for both weekday and weekend shifts.

Shifts Available:

Shift 1 (Weekday): Monday-Thursday/Friday

Shift 2 (Weekend): Friday–Sunday | 3x12 schedule Paid for 40 hours +$2.50/hr shift differential

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes, vertical mills, and horizontal mills to produce precision components.
Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and work instructions.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits to maintain quality and throughput.
Inspect in-process work to verify critical dimensions and conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

7+ years CNC machining experience preferred
Experience with G-code and machine setup
Blueprint reading skills required
Manual machining experience a plus
Experience in heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing preferred
