Job Summary

Lehigh Landscaping is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and organized Part-Time Recruiter to help us find and attract great employees for our growing landscaping and outdoor services team.

This position will be primarily in-office, with regular travel to job fairs, trade schools, technical schools, community events, and other recruiting opportunities to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.

The ideal candidate is comfortable talking to people, representing the company professionally, and taking initiative to find good candidates rather than simply waiting for applications to come in.

Responsibilities

Recruit candidates for open positions throughout the company
Post and maintain job advertisements on recruiting platforms
Review resumes and applications and conduct initial phone/in-person screenings
Schedule interviews with hiring managers
Maintain candidate records and follow up with applicants
Attend local job fairs, career fairs, trade schools, technical schools, and community recruiting events
Build relationships with trade schools, vocational programs, workforce organizations, and other recruiting partners
Represent Lehigh Landscaping professionally at recruiting events
Develop creative ways to attract dependable, motivated employees
Help coordinate hiring paperwork and onboarding activities
Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
Maintain an organized recruiting pipeline and provide regular updates to management
Assist with employee referral and recruiting programs
Perform other recruiting and administrative duties as needed

Requirements

Previous recruiting, hiring, human resources, sales, or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and people skills
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Professional appearance and attitude
Comfortable traveling locally to recruiting events
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Comfortable using email, social media, job boards, and basic computer progra

The right person will be a people person who enjoys recruiting and networking. You should be comfortable walking into a trade school or job fair, introducing yourself, talking about our company, and getting qualified candidates interested in joining our team.

Experience in the landscaping, construction, property maintenance, or trades industries is a plus but not required.

Compensation

Part-Time — Competitive Hourly Pay Based on Experience

Additional compensation or incentives may be available for successful recruiting and hiring results.
