Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy healthcare facility. This role is essential in ensuring seamless clinic management, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical office experience, and a passion for optimizing practice efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will oversee administrative functions, manage healthcare staff, and ensure financial stability—all while fostering a positive environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction and staff development.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of medical practice operations, including patient management, staff supervision, and administrative workflows
Supervise healthcare staff including nurses, administrative support personnel, and clinical teams to ensure high performance and compliance with healthcare standards
Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like SIS to maintain accurate medical records and streamline patient documentation
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and health policy guidelines to protect patient confidentiality and maintain legal compliance
Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize clinic workflows, manage patient scheduling, and improve patient experience
Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives based on data analysis
Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards, managed care policies, utilization management protocols, and health regulation policies
Handle human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development programs

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in clinic operations
Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems , proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams in fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle processes
Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, managed care policies and health regulation policies
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
Knowledge of managed care systems and utilization management practices enhances your ability to optimize practice efficiency
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
Experience in working in a surgical setting is a plus
