Veterinary Assistant – Join Our Caring Team!

Are you passionate about animals and looking to make a real difference in their lives? We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team at a busy, friendly veterinary clinic. This is a hands-on role that also includes front desk responsibilities, so we’re seeking someone who is not only great with animals but also loves working with people.

Clinic Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Most of our team wraps up by 3:00–4:00 PM. Please consider your availability before applying.

What You’ll Do

Support our veterinarians during exams and procedures by gently restraining pets and preparing needed equipment.
Administer medications as directed, always ensuring accuracy and care.
Keep our clinic clean, well-organized, and ready to welcome patients—this includes exam rooms, kennels, and lab areas.
Provide excellent customer service at the front desk: schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage patient records with care.
Monitor animals while they’re in our care, noting any changes in behavior or health and reporting them promptly.
Assist with lab work—collecting samples and helping with basic diagnostic tests.
Offer pet parents clear guidance on aftercare and general wellness practices.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or as a Veterinary Assistant is a plus.
Familiarity with animal care, medications, or veterinary terminology is helpful.
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude are essential.
Must be comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who loves animals and is committed to providing kind, attentive care.
