Full Job Description

The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), the Washington, DC-based trade association representing the 35,000 company, $8.2 trillion revenue distribution industry, is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Digital Marketing Manager to support and optimize the organization’s demand generation, lifecycle marketing, and marketing technology initiatives.

Reporting to the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer, this role will own and optimize NAW's marketing operations infrastructure - including marketing automation, CRM processes, audience segmentation, reporting, and campaign execution - to drive qualified lead generation, increase audience engagement, and strengthen the top of the marketing funnel.

This individual will expand NAW's digital audience, increase website traffic and subscriber growth, and create scalable marketing programs that convert prospects into engaged members and customers.

Audience Growth & Demand Generation

· Execute digital marketing campaigns designed to increase website traffic, newsletter subscribers, content downloads, and new marketing-qualified leads.

· Optimize workflows, automation, lifecycle stages, segmentation, reporting, and lead management.

· Build and optimize landing pages, forms, email campaigns, automated nurture programs, and lead capture experiences.

· Support SEO, content distribution, and audience acquisition initiatives that increase organic reach and engagement.

· Build automated nurture campaigns that guide prospects through the buyer journey using personalized content and behavioral triggers.

· Improve audience segmentation and personalization strategies to increase engagement and conversion.

· Develop dashboards and reporting that measure audience growth, website performance, digital engagement, lead generation, and funnel conversion.

· Provide recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness, marketing ROI, and top-of-funnel growth.

Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to successfully perform the job as well as the education and experience requirements.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to create new processes and demonstrate sound judgment
Exibits a high degree of initiative
Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Ciscion (or similar tools), and social media management platforms preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, required

· 3-5 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Revenue Operations, ideally within an association, advocacy organization or on the Hill/Government, required

· Proven track record of securing policy and national media placements.

· Experience building automated marketing campaigns and lifecycle workflows.

· Experience with lead management, segmentation, CRM administration, and marketing analytics.

· Experience growing digital audiences through content marketing, SEO, paid media, and email marketing, preferred

· Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, preferred

· Experience working within an association, membership, media, or publishing organization, preferred

· Experience supporting audience development strategies for newsletters, publications, research, or digital media, preferred

The position is based at NAW’s headquarters office in Washington, DC, near Metro Center. NAW is currently offering a hybrid work model. Employees are required to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and upon request for mandatory meetings or events. Employees are provided the opportunity to work remotely on Monday and Friday. The hybrid work model is subject to change.

Travel: up to 5%
