Full Job Description

Job Overview

Fox Enterprise, a growing geothermal HVAC company, is currently seeking to hire experienced and safety-focused Skid Steer Operators and Telehandler Operators to join our team to support on-site construction and geothermal drilling operations at Fort Meade. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to assist with material handling, site preparation, and daily field operations. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to safety, reliability, and the ability to meet U.S. military base access requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate skid steer and telehandler equipment safely and efficiently on active construction sites.
Load, unload, transport, and stage materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching support, and material placement.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Work closely with drilling crews, project management, and field personnel to support daily production goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or site challenges to supervisors promptly.
Support additional labor tasks as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience operating skid steer and/or telehandler equipment.
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and heavy equipment operation.
Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks when required.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team.

Fort Meade Access Requirements (Mandatory)

Candidates must meet the following requirements to work on Fort Meade:

Possession of a REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or identification card.
Possession of a valid Social Security card.
No criminal or background restrictions that would prohibit access to a U.S. military installation.
Ability to pass all required background checks for base access.
