Full Job Description

Application Instructions: * Must be able to pass a vertical and horizontal MIG plate test and 6-G tig weld test on carbon. Must have own tools.

MIG/TIG Welder – $29–34/hr + Overtime | ASME Pressure Vessel Work (Shop – Local)

We’re hiring experienced welders for full-time shop work fabricating ASME code pressure vessels and industrial equipment that power industries, support infrastructure, and keep everyday life moving.

Pay & Benefits

$29–34/hour (based on experience) paid weekly
Bonus for meeting production goals and completion
Per diem for employees who reside 60 or more miles from the facility address.
Consistent overtime available

What You’ll Do

Perform MIG and TIG welding on ASME pressure vessels and components
Use both manual & semi-automated welding equipment
Weld pipe and structural components to code requirements
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Fit, align, and assemble components prior to welding
Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications

Position Requirements: Requirements

Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Strong attention to detail and weld quality
Ability to pass a weld test (MIG carbon plate 2G & 3G. TIG carbon pipe 6G preferred.) MIG is required, MIG and TIG allowed for hire as Combo Welder at higher rate.
Must have your own tools required for welding and fabrication work

Preferred (Not Required)

2+ years of welding experience
Experience with ASME code welding
Background in pressure vessel or process equipment fabrication
Experience with pipe welding and fabrication
