Position Summary

The Adult Training Facility (ATF) Assistant Director oversees the daily operations of our Adult Training Facility, ensuring high-quality services are provided to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This leadership role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating programming, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting person-centered services that support each individual's goals and needs.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, values continuous improvement, and is committed to empowering both the individuals we serve and the teams that support them.

What You'll Do

Support Individuals to Reach Their Goals

Coordinate training and developmental opportunities for individuals served.
Develop and oversee planned program activities and community experiences.
Collaborate with Program Specialists to create individualized goals based on each person's strengths and needs.
Utilize positive behavior supports and intervention strategies.
Model appropriate instructional techniques and safety practices.
Provide direct support when needed to maintain required staffing ratios.

Lead, Develop, and Support Staff

Provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ATF staff.
Address employee concerns while fostering a positive team environment.
Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Complete employee performance evaluations and monitor attendance.
Coordinate staff schedules, monthly activity calendars, and special events.
Conduct staff meetings and ensure all required trainings are completed.

Ensure Quality Services and Regulatory Compliance

Complete and coordinate assessments and required documentation.
Develop and oversee implementation of Individual Plans (ISPs).
Monitor and report on individuals' progress toward goals.
Prepare quarterly behavior support reports and facilitate meetings.
Maintain documentation of communication with interdisciplinary teams.
Ensure medication administration procedures are followed appropriately.
Monitor financial accountability for program and participant funds.
Review program documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain and update policies and procedures as needed.

Promote Organizational Excellence

Maintain knowledge of all applicable regulations, including requirements from the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL).
Ensure compliance with all PathWays policies and procedures, including HIPAA, OSHA, and incident reporting requirements.
Utilize electronic health record systems effectively to support service delivery.
Serve as a liaison between the ATF and other service programs.
Promote PathWays services to individuals, families, and community partners.
Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven leader who is passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and developing strong teams.

Education & Experience

Qualified candidates must possess one of the following:

A Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities; or
An Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities.

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related technology.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
A commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and person-centered services.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license and the ability to operate agency vehicles, including passenger vans/minibuses.
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including lifting, assisting individuals served, and responding to emergencies.
Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances, health screenings, and certifications, including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
