Full Job Description

Position Summary

The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing and supporting the recruitment process from candidate sourcing through onboarding. This position partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate the selection process, and help ensure a positive candidate experience. The HR Recruiter also supports various human resources initiatives and maintains compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities.
Develop and post job descriptions on company career pages, job boards, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
Source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct phone, virtual, and/or initial interviews.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and coordinate background checks as required.
Prepare and extend job offers and assist with pre-employment paperwork.
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment and candidate records.
Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and candidate status in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Support recruitment events, career fairs, community outreach, and employer branding initiatives.
Ensure recruiting practices are consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Assist with employee relations, HR projects, and other human resources activities as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of recruitment and interviewing practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking or HR information systems.
