About Us

Advanced Dermatology of Alaska is a busy dermatology clinic committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Wasilla.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive experience. This position handles scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and general administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirming upcoming visits.
Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information.
Collect co-pays and process payments according to office policy.
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
Assist with insurance verification and prior authorization coordination.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Provide support to clinical and administrative teams as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
