Zoomin Groomin West Hartford is Hiring ASAP for a passionate, motivated, and friendly Dog Groomer with experience for a Mobile Grooming Company. MUST be available Saturdays.

Part-time and Full-time options available. Full Time is four 10 hour days.

We are a great small team based out of West Hartford, CT + servicing surrounding areas with a team of about 10 people. We are looking for an experienced Dog Groomer(s).

We are a passion-driven business and we treat each pet as our own and all do our part to support one another as a team. We are looking for a groomer that will align with our core values and helping all types of pet behaviors and those needing extra assistance such as disabilities, anxiety, and everything in between. And a go-getter who would love a one-on-one environment.

Our work environment includes:

Driving our mobile grooming van (**MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE**)
Working with all types of dogs and their respective owners
One-on-one attention and care, must be an independent worker and ability to lift large dogs if needed into/out of tub (most can walk right in and we do have ramps)
Utilizing our garage space for towels, side work, parking the van, etc. (bathroom location)

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess the skills to groom and care for all types of dog breeds. MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH PROPER CERTIFICATION training and have at least 2 years experience grooming In a salon.

We have a Manager on staff daily that will handle scheduling, calls, and customer services and be there for support!

Responsibilities:

Provide quality grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping and knowing how to handle any injury/matting.
PATIENCE and ability to work alone, be independent
Clean and maintain pet grooming equipment and van, sanitization
Perform basic health checks on pets
Provide advice on pet care, educate clients on home care, and give great customer service and compassion
Rebook clients on our system on occasion and text them grooming reports and ETA’s
Driving the mobile van responsibly
Reliable transportation to work
Completing the beginning of day and end of day opening/closing tasks.

Commission-based pay, you keep 100% of your tips, we offer bonuses as well.

We pay the best in the industry and do our best to support our staff in any way we can!

Must have your own Grooming Tools & Maintain tools but we supply the basics and all the products

Day shift (typically 9am-6pm. Arrive at garage 8:45am to prep, and clean and leave around 6-6:45 end of day)
